Could someone direct me to a list of songs played during the europe 72 tour and not during the fall 72 tour, y vice versa? It shouldnt be too long but I don't feel like searching all of the shows for comparison, figuring someone might have already done this.

Thanks

Birdsong, Cryptical, Baby Blue were played in the fall but not in the spring. All the Pigpen songs obviously were not played in the fall.

Actually, it seems they added quite a number of songs in the summer, perhaps to cover for Pigpen's absence.

Friend of the Devil, Big River, Around & Around, Don't Ease Me In, Tomorrow Is Forever, Box of Rain, Candyman, and Bird Song were ALL not played in Europe, but added in the second half of the year. (Some others, like Brokedown Palace, were played much more frequently in the fall.)
And of course a couple new songs were added, Stella Blue & Mississippi Half-Step.

You can see from this list alone what a different vibe the fall setlists had, with Pigpen's jammin' rockers & blues tunes replaced by all these countryish songs.

On the other hand, outside of Pigpen's songs it's hard to think of any songs that were dropped after the Europe tour.

2 main additions after E72 were Stella Blue and Mississippi Half Step. You could add Box of Rain to that group as well. It was played on 9/17/70, but didn't re-appear until the fall of '72, when it became a semi-consistent play for the next 9 months.
